Science on Tap
What Lurks at the Core of the Milky Way
Science is brewing at Hancher’s Stanley Café! Science on Tap is an informal forum for UI researchers to engage the campus and the local community in a discussion of science in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Please join us Oct. 19 from 5:30-6:30 pm for Science on Tap during the weekly Thursday Nights at Hancher program.
The first Science on Tap will feature Dr. Cornelia Lang of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Dr. Lang will discuss her research on what is happening at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy with the talk, “What Lurks at the Core of the Milky Way," followed by a discussion with the audience.
Light entrees, snacks, and refreshments will be available for purchase from the Stanley Café.
