Family Fun Night
Celebrating Visual Arts with Big Picture Gallery & Studio
Participants will be introduced to the artist Vincent van Gogh, viewing and discussing his use of the elements of art in his paintings of sunflowers. Drawing and oil crayon techniques will be demonstrated. Using oil crayon on drawing paper, participants will create their own sunflower piece taking inspiration from van Gogh!
♦ For students entering first through fifth grades.
♦ Registration is closed. Twenty-five children are registered for the class, and 27 children are on the waiting list.
♦ Art materials will be provided, courtesy of Family Fun Nights.
♦ Parents / Guardians required to stay at Hancher during their child(ren)'s participation at Family Fun Night.
