Late in life (after flirting with retirement), Johannes Brahms composed two works for virtuoso clarinetist Richard Mühlfeld—two masterpieces rarely performed on the same program. An ensemble of superior musicians, including clarinetist David Shifrin, will share these lovely compositions.
