Hoba Hoba Spirit
Tickets sales at the door are available on site at CSPS Hall beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Hoba Hoba Spirit calls its fusion music “Hayha,” but you might call it “Moroccan-roll.” Blending rock, reggae, and Gnawa (African Islamic spiritual songs), the band sings in the Arabic dialect Darija, French, and English, reflecting the hopes and concerns of young Moroccans.

Residency Events
Hoba Hoba Spirit will be in residence for a week in Iowa City, talking to a number of university classes, visiting the Wednesday night Farmers Market, and experiencing cultural life in Iowa City.
