Family Fun Night
In June, Thursday Nights at Hancher become Family Fun Nights at Hancher!
Join us each Thursday night in June for free events celebrating the arts! Family Fun Nights coincide with Thursday Nights at Hancher from 5:30 to 7 pm.
June 21: Celebrating Make Music Day
West Music will bring the international day of making music to Hancher. Make Music Day activities for all will include drumming, ukulele, harmonica, and an instrument “petting zoo.” Open to students of all ages and abilities.
Brentano String Quartet
Named for Antonie Brentano—believed by many to be Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved”—the Brentano String Quartet is beloved by audiences whether they are performing immortal repertoire or contemporary compositions.
Kaia Kater
Of African-Caribbean descent and born in Québec, Kaia Kater has immersed herself in Canadian folk music as well as the music of Appalachia. With superb banjo skills, a jazz inflected voice, and a gift for song craft, she respects tradition while pushing forward.
Havana Cuba All-Stars
